The hotel had very small room but quite ample for the price charged, definitely would go there again.
excellent location, good breakfast (apart from coffee and juices which are awful). Hotel guests pay only one day park entry fee; for the following days ask hotel to stamp your ticket & it will be valid again.
very small room, too short bed sheets, too expensive for service offered
Good location and value for money.
After initial payment to enter the Lakes by staying at the Bellevue we could continue to visit the Lakes for the duration of our stay.
You will not find a hotel like this anywhere else, its from a time warp but in a fun way
Hotel Bellevue appears to be part of a cluster of three large-ish hotels (with Hotel Jezero & Hotel Plitvice) in the woods right near the entrance to the Plitvice National Park. Location is great: the park is just a short walk downhill. Bellevue's rates seemed a bit cheaper than the other two hotels, so a better budget choice among the three. All these hotels tend to cater to tour groups, although Jezero, the largest, seems more big-bus friendly and Bellevue more for individual families. Hotel is pleasant enough, but utilitarian, just 3-star. Nothing special. You can easily walk to the other two hotels to take advantage of extra services there.
My "single" room was more like a "single cell", very cramped and claustrophobic. I'd ask for a double room for a single if I went back. Rooms had no ac in the midst of a heat wave in the Balkans, but it cooled down enough at night to open a window. Wish there had been at least a ceiling fan. Windows also tend to let in mosquitos. Desk staff's attitudes ranged from somewhat helpful to grim-faced guest-avoidance. A communist era hold-over? There is only a breakfast room, no restaurant or bar, but guests can use the faclities in the other two hotels.
If was a functional hotel with good facilities whilst we were visiting the National Park next door.
Their was no bar facility within the hotel itself we had to go to the restaurant next door.
Excellent location to visit Plitvice lakes. Rooms dated but functional and clean. Breakfasts good. Helpful staff. Good parking. Close to Licka Kuca a charming traditional restaurant.
If travellers want a higher standard of room/hotel I'd stay at their sister hotel next door. The Bellevue rooms are very basic but they do the job.
It's setting and its proximity to good dining at a sister hotel.
Some of the Bellevue reception staff (only one to be exact!) were not particularly friendly or helpful. On the other hand. the sister hotel's reception and dining room staff were exceptionally efficient and friendly.
Near to the park and near to the restaurant. Good beds. Then again any kind of bed probably feels good after a whole day of walking. :-)
The toilet wasn't that nice, and the walls seemed rather thin. Luckily it's not a place where people go to party hard - most people seemed to go to bed quite early.
The hotel is an excellent value given its proximity to the park and the good breakfast that is included in the price. Easy to get to if you are traveling by bus.
as described, the hotel was no frills, but the real star here is the park so you won't be in the room much anyway. The included breakfast was very hearty, and you will need it for the walking! the room was clean, and the water pressure would peel paint! no internet, but free wifi in the Hotel Plitvice across the drive.
Could hear the sounds of the waterfall, and was a very quiet environment. Of course the location is excellent for early starts. You could use the internet at Hotel Plitvice if you dont carry a laptop yourself.
quite expensive considering the small size and outdated decor of the rooms.
Very close to park access, easy to get to off the bus from Split/Zagreb. Did a lunchbox as left too early for breakfast. Room was basic and outdated but clean.
Outdated rooms amd quite expensive just because in the main park. Rooms are closley packed together. No discount for entry fee to park.
Don't have wifi and restrant.
The decorations were tacky and the room was uncomfortable. The room was dirty and filled with bugs. I would not stay there again even though is was in a good location, the facilities were poor and it was a horrible value.
